Alex oversees the operation of the various divisions related to real estate development, consulting, brokerage, and lending. Alex brings a family legacy of more than 30 years in real estate investing. He is experienced in multiple areas of commercial real estate with a focus on healthcare including long-term continual care. Alex is a licensed Texas real broker and experienced mortgage broker.
Alex was one of 12 employees worldwide to be awarded the prestigious Leader's Council award at Lucent Technologies as a result of his success as a Director of Sales. After more than 14 years in management and sales for PepsiCo, Nortel Networks and Lucent Technologies, Alex founded Laurex in an effort to control his own destiny and help others through real estate. Alex holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
As a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Instructor, Alex is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. As a CCIM, Alex is an invaluable resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor, and user, and is among an elite corps of 9,000 professionals across North America who hold the CCIM designation.

Laura has experience in landlord and tenant representation, project leasing, sale negotiations and property management. She has assisted in the day to day operation of maintenance issues, tracking leases, CAMs, TI, deposits, renewals, lease abstracts, track and maintain vendor and tenant information in Yardi. She also has experience in the detailed management of real estate transaction activities which entail the entire lifecycle of a project for retail, office, medical and industrial. She has personally managed over 100,000 SF, leased over 210,000 SF, and sold 2,500,000 SF, plus more managed with a team of PMs. With the ability to work with owners and tenants, I create a positive environment for tenants and take a proactive approach to maintenance to ensure that the building stays relevant.
Mrs. Johnson spent the 20 years with Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, CompUSA and Fujitsu.
She enjoys volunteering in the community. She is currently a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW Dallas) and was the Vice Chair of the Membership Committee in 2016, and she is also a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR). She is a member of the Junior League of Collin County serving in a variety of leadership roles including Project Council, Membership and appointed committees. She is a former executive board member to Plano International Preschool serving as membership chair and secretary.
